A cat breed with a long sorted history that spans the entire planet. The Birman, also know as the ‘Sacred Cat of Burma’, is a long hair, colour-pointed cat, distinguished by their deep blue eyes, and contrasting white socks that adorn each paw. The French are attributed with the discovery of the breed but lore reveals the breeds origin alongside temple priests in northern Burma, in the Mount of Lugh.
